CCS/TMS570LC4357: Unable to access the DAP

Hi,
I had unintentionally loaded a piece of code that will initialize PLL. But something went wrong due to which I am no longer able to connect it to the CCS.

the following is the dialogue that I get:

I am not able to debug/flash any project.
Please tell me what to do.

Points to note:

The Device is original launchpad from TI.

The connection test is succeeding.

I have seen a couple of posts with similar questions, however, they dont seem to work for me:

Okay, got it,
from e2e.ti.com/.../585287,
trying the reset and connecting to cortex-r target a few times did the trick.
