Hi,

I have two boards connected to my PC through jtag connector ,two boards would be:

1) AM4379 IDK EVM
2) AM4377 based custom board

I am creating the build using the Code composer studio. I wanted to uniquely identify the board and flash them using uniflash V3 command line tool.

uniflash -ccxml TMS320F28035.ccxml -program file1.out -programStatusOutput Result.txt pass fail

But before flashing, I want to check if the boards are connected and how many boards are connected to my PC using some program.

Kindly let me know is there any way to do this.

We are using XDS100v2 debug probe.

There is a command line utility called xds100serial. It will tell you all boards connected to your PC via an XDS100 debug probe. This does NOT tell you what the boards/devices that are connected to the XDS100 debug probes are. But you should be able to determine that by using the serial numbers that are displayed.

HI Ki,

Thanks a lot that helped. Now my question is if I connect one board to PC through jtag xds100v1 and generate the .ccxml(say c1.ccxml) file by using the above method. Can I then use that ccxml file (which will now have the jtag's serial number) to flash that connected board by using the uniflash v3 command line tool.

uniflash -ccxml c1.ccxml -program file1.out -programStatusOutput Result.txt pass fail

yes, you can use that ccxml (with the serial number specified) with command-line uniflash to flash the board connected to the xds100 with that serial number
