CCS/TMS320C6713: CCS compatibility issues

How do I find compatibility for components that go with CCS? Currently, I have testing with a DSK6713 using CCS 7.0.0.00043, and DSP/BIOS 5.42.02.10, and I would like to install UIA to get the RTOS analyzer tools working, but when I go to the app center and select down load, it takes me to http://downloads.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/uia/. The latest version of UIA lists the following dependencies:

So it appears that I don’t have a high enough version for BIOS, but when I look at BIOS, it appears that version 6.x of DSP/BIOS is not supported on the C6713 processor. Is there an easy way to sort out the compatibility of CCS, BIOS, UIA versions for a particular DSP processor (C6713 in this case)?

Sarah,

I will ask someone from the RTOS team to comment but I don't believe you are going to be able to get the RTOS analyzer tools updating in real-time (via UIA) for C6713. I believe only stop-mode updates will be supported.

We do not have any plans to support UIA with DSP/BIOS. Unfortunately, we don't have plans to support the c6713 with SYS/BIOS (newer version of the kernel).
