Continuous Refresh; Not always enabled

Dear CCS developer,

After switching between different Watch windows or restarting Debug, ‘Continuous Refresh’ icon is market as enabled but it’s not working. Clicking twice (disable, enable) ‘Continuous Refresh’ and it’s works again.

I am having trouble with the continuous refresh. .in the Watch Window. (more below)

I have tried to un-select and re-select. . .no luck.

As soon as I pause the program, the values get refreshed.

I do not appear to have the same problem in the graphs.

I am running CCSv4 on Windows Vista. What else should I try?

Which target are you running on? If it is a F28xx, do you have real-time mode enabled in CCS?

Thanks for the pointer . .

I am on an F28335, like you guessed. Real Time mode was set. .

I have it working now. Here is what I did:

I copied all of the files into a new directory. I then created a new project that pointed at the new directory. This broke the refresh.

After lots of frustration, I went back to the old project and the watch window worked. . .so I recreated the target and BAM! it all works now.

I do not know why.

I'm glad to hear everything is working now. Although I'm not really sure what happened with the copied project, there are some cases where the workspace gets corrupted, and in those cases, either using a new workspace or "cleaning" the workspace helps.
