CCS: After firmware update for on-board XDS110 emulator, the debugger can no longer connect to the target

Hi Champ,

  I was using CCS7.1 and when I try to connect to the CC2650 LaunchPad I was prompted with the message asking me to upgrade the firmware for the XDS110. I clicked yes and now everything does not work. Before I was able to download code using Flash Programmer 2. No I no longer can do so.

  I have two different CC2650 LaunchPads. The one without the upgrade I can see the CC2650 being recognized. 

The other LaunchPad after the firmware upgrade, I can no longer see the device, no matter in Flash Programmer 2 or in CCS. It is shown as unknown.

How do I fix this?

    Charles,

    I couldn't reproduce this in my setup. I have the same SmartRF programmer software and stock CCSv7.1.0.00016 (no updates were applied). 

    I followed the procedure shown in the short clip below. Perhaps I am missing something?
