Too frequent recompilations with CCS v4.1.2 and 4.1.3

Hello.

CCS recompiles everything way too often!!

It recompiles if you:

- change the build settings of ONE file

- change build configuration, even when no changes have been made since last build

- open and close the .tcf file (without changing anything!)

- hit the cancel button while building, and click build again (even without changing any files)

 

It has been like this since v4.0.1 - When will this be fixed !!!

As the projects we are working on are large, this issue is time consuming (costly) and hence irritating.

    I have been able to duplicate the above 2 behaviors and am verifying the other ones you mentioned. I will file these issues into our bug tracking system and post the tracking numbers here.

    I entered defect # SDSCM00037521 to track these CCS rebuild issues. You can track its status using the SDOWP link in my signature.
