That's correct; the --generationOnly option was added to the "configuro" tool in XDC tools release 3.20.xx.  The issue you originally reported will appear if an older version is used.

Thanks for pointing out that CCS4 auto update is not pulling in the 3.20 release yet.  I will need to do some checking on that.

    I see this thread has been moved into the CCS forum.  I split the thread.  Was this moved to get an answer to XDC Tools updates via CCS?  At this time the XDC tools do not have an update site registered with CCS so CCS won't automatically find new releases.  The goal is to get this in place for XDC Tools & BIOS similar to how it works for CCS service releases and compilers.
