CCS/TM4C1230H6PM: Hwi interrupt nesting options in ccs7

Hi,

In ccs7 the Hwi nesting options are not present in the dialog that sets up a new Hwi for TM4C (as it was shown in Ti_RTOS workshop video). What is the default interrupt nesting behavior in this case? How to change the interrupt nesting option for TM4C in ccs7?

Hi Sina,

Interrupt nesting option is present in the "Module" view of the Hwi module and applies to all interrupts created with the Hwi module. Below screenshot shows where to change the interrupt nesting setting:

Interrupt nesting is enabled by default.

Hi Ashish,

Thanks for your help. In my sample project created by CCS7, there are 2 types of Hwi; one is labeled ti.sysbios.hal and the other one ti.sysbios.family.arm.m3. I noticed that if I create a new Hwi of type ti.sysbios.hal, the interrupt masking options are present. However, if I create a new Hwi of type ti.sysbios.family.arm.m3, the interrupt masking options are not present. Do you have any info about this difference?

Hi Sina,

With the family specific Hwi module also the interrupt nesting option can be set from the "Module" view (see screenshot below). Once again, the option is global and applies to all interrupts (except zero latency interrupts):
