Compiler/AM5726: 64-bit tool support?

Hi,

I am trying to compile my C66x application on Bash for Windows.

Bash for Windows only support native 64 bits binaries so I can't run the cl6x compiler at all in that environment.

Is there any plans on creating the compiler in native 64 bits?

We do not plan to release 64-bit executables for the compiler in the short term.

Longer term, we plan to release 64-bit executables when Code Composer Studio releases a 64-bit version. That is the roadmap, but no dates can be announced at this time.

That's unfortunate, considering CodeComposer on Linux is already 64-bit only.
