CCS/TMS320F28031: Breakpoint for register access

Hi all,

Can someone explain how to give breakpoint while a register ( GPIO ) is being accessed? The wiki page does not seem to help me. I am trying to understand why a gpio is going low during some of the execution. Thank you

Danny,

You can configure a watchpoint to halt the CPU when a read or write access is made to a data variable address, such as GPIO Data registers.

There is information about configuring watchpoints in this wiki page:

When configuring the watchpoint, you would need to put the address of the data register in the Location field.
