Subclipse Subversion for CCS is old

I downloaded Subclipse Subversion client as per TI instructions, which state must use older plugins for Code Composer.

Our Subversion Server only supports more recent subversion client interface at 1.6.2, which has been around a while, and has significant changes with client authentication
not included in old 1.5.3 interface that CCS forces me to use. This means I cant have SVN teamwork integrated in CCS, and must revert to manual project commits etc using
my own SVN client. I have gone through the forum posts to work out what is actually needed to be committed as part of the project, so thats no longer a problem. Not having
SVN integrated reduces the value of CCS, why pay the big $$$ if only supports ancient Subclipse. If I get Eclipse (free) it supports latest Subclipse!

Please let me know if my undertstanding of Code Composer is correct, and if so does TI have any plans to update Code Composer to use more recent Eclipse/Subclipse?
Or perhaps there is a way around this?
