Hello,

I port FreeRTOS in MSP430 board.

And I would like to profile execution time / CPU utilization / IO with MSP430FR5969 board.

I know there is Trace Analyzer tool to profile application, but it is not for the MSP430.

Is there any tool like Trace Analyzer for MSP430 device?

Thank you for the information.

I have tried EEM before. I heard that EEM offers state storage feature (Trace).

But I can not start the tracing with my board.

It can be used only on devices that have the big EEM.

Do you know if MSP430FR5969 device has a big EEM?

I mean does my board support Trace?

The MSP430FR5969 datasheet says:

6.10.19.1 Embedded Emulation Module (EEM)
The EEM supports real-time in-system debugging. The S version of the EEM has the following features:

• Three hardware triggers or breakpoints on memory access

• One hardware trigger or breakpoint on CPU register write access

• Up to four hardware triggers that can be combined to form complex triggers or breakpoints

• One cycle counter

• Clock control on module level

Therefore, the MSP430FR5969 doesn't support Trace (State Storage)

Chester is correct, the FR5969 does not support it. Sorry for the confusion.
