CCS/TM4C123GH6PM: Cannot import a tutorial project

Hi,

I am going through the labs of TI_RTOS Kernel workshop. I am using CCSv6.0 and when i try to import the lab, i get following error.

I am using the more recent versions here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi AQ,
I would suggest installing the 5.2 compiler for best compatibility:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Compiler_Updates

Also note that your version of CCS is a bit dated. I would suggest updating to a later version.

Hi Ki,
Thanks for a quick reply. I found the needed version of compiler and now am sorted.
Also, thinking about migrating to the newer version of CCS, but just afraid of the changes :)

I would recommend updating your CCS version because we are always making fixes/enhancements. But of course there is always a small risk when making changes to an existing environment that is working well. I would recommend updating to the latest version of CCSv6 (CCSv6.2.0). I don't see any issues with updating that minor revision number.
