Hi,

I use XOMAP-L137/TMX320C6747 FLOAT STARTER KIT 702210 REV A.

Is licence for CCS3.3 and MontaVista limited only for working with EVM Starter Kit?

If I design my own PCB with OMAP-L137 should I buy other CCS3.3 licence to legal programing and selling my appliance?

    Yes, the development kit page says that:

    The contents of the starter kit (SK) include:

    • Code Composer StudioTM IDE (limited to use on the starter kit)
    • Demo version of MontaVista Pro 5.0 tools (to be used with the subsequent releases of this kit)

    Therefore you would need to purchase a full version of CCS to properly debug the the application in your end equipment. I am not 100% sure about the Montavista, though, since I don't know what are the limitations of the Demo version. I suggest you ask about the Montavista tools in the OMAPL1 forums as they may have a better idea.
