Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I have a TMS320C54x board and have found the TMS320C54x Code Composer Studio Tutorial PDF code:SPTU327C this document should come with companion code and executables that I cant seem to find anywhere.

    The tutorial you are referencing appears to be written for CCS version 3.3, which is very old and no longer supported. You may be able to use a newer version like CCSv5 but the GUI and interface is quite different than CCSv3, so you may not be able to directly follow the steps in that document. Unfortunately tools and software support for C54x has been deprecated over the years.

    I think the choice of CCS version and supporting software depends on the board/device you are working with. I would also suggest posting to the C5000 device forum, let them know which board/device you are working with and ask for their recommendation on the best version of CCS and supporting software packages to use for that board.
