Hi TI team!

I like to find out a procedure required to build and output a project such that I can program it to my board via UniFlash v4.

What format do I have to build and release the project to in order to use it in UniFlash to program on to the chip?

Please advise! Any literature outlining the procedure would be much appreciated!

The default output for a typical CCS project is TI ELF.

Hi Ki,

Really appreciate the response.
However, I have tried to look into the Release folder of my project directory and I do not see any file format satisfying the ELF.

Would you please point me in the right place where I can find the output file if Release directory is not the correct location?

Do you see a file with a *.out file extension in your Release folder?

Yes! I have tried using that *.out file in the Flash Image

Then I chose Verify Image (not writing yet)

And I got this error...

The file is likely in the correct format but you are getting a type of "data verification error". See the below for details:

Thank you for your comments!

I think by unchecking the 'Binary' box at the end of the Flash Image field did make it work.
(I was using the *.out file as the image file)
