CCS/CCSTUDIO: CCS project versioning

Team, 

Is there a way to capture the version of CCS/components, and SDK/components in a single text file (can be XML based) that can be stored with the project so that when coming back to it at future date the environment can be reproduced to get it to working state ? 

Next step/question  would be to be able to pull all those components to restore the project space dependencies automatically ... but one step at a time ;))

    Hello,
    The project does not automatically store that level of versioning information. A few thing like CGT and XDC version is recorded but certainly not everything. It is something that people do manually by looking at the CCS installation details and keeping track of the SDK versioning themselves.

    Thanks, I know it doesn't do it - but there is benefit in having such feature, Are there any plans ?

    There are currently no concrete plans to support this. The have been similar requests before but the application for this is a bit more complicated then it seems. It is certainly worth revisiting this request, which I will do when I'm back in the office.
