CCS/CC2640R2F: Errors during linking

I am working on porting a CC260 4x4 custom board app from ble_sdk_2_02_01_18

to simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_35_00_33.

I set up a separate directory for the custom board with a pre-processor symbol:

C:\ti\simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_35_00_33\source\ti\blestack\boards\CC2640R2_Custom

I am getting several errors during linking. What might be causing this? I have attached

screenshots of errors and console output.

I forgot to add I am using the simple_peripheral_oad_offchip project.
The custom board has an external flash memory.

Hi Priya,

Did you change board.c to accommodate your board files? Also you should copy the board files from C:\ti\simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_30_00_25\source\ti\blestack\boards\CC2640R2DK_4XS and then copy to your "CC2640R2_Custom" folder.

I copied the CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL board files to the custom board directory and
edited it with the custom board information. This is how it was done with the
ble_sdk_2_02_01_18, the Launchpad had the middleware directory.

Should this be done differently for simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_1_35_00_33 (use
the CC2640R2_4XS board)?

Hi Priya,

If you are going to use 4XS board then use 4XS board files. The procedure can be found at CC2640R2 Docs "Running the SDK on Custom Boards".

The board's now advertising. The CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL board files worked
fine as a starting point. I also tried the 4XS DK board, but things are working
with the LAUNCHXL boards.
