CCS4 Update

Hi,

I'm in the process of updating my CCS version (4.0.x ) however, for security reasons the PC on which CCS is installed is not (and must not be) connected to the Internet.

Thus I can't use the update manager embeded into CCS.

Any other way to upload the updates (at least 4.1.0) and execute them on the PC afterwards?

If my understanding is correct the only solution is to download the full CCS image.

I went through the licensing/activation topics on your wiki and found out that I should do the following:

uninstall my current CCSv4.0 but keep the license file (we got the CCS v4.0.x software on a CD.)
download the CCSv4.1.x (latest by default) with a free license
install it
activate it by using the licence file from the previous version (CD one)

Am I correct? Will it work?
