AM5728: Pinmux tool installation issue

Hi,

 I have downloaded the Pinmux Desktop Version of the tool (v4.0.1490). After installation rarely the application opens. Most of the time the application opens  with a blank screen. After reinstalling also the same problem is appearing.  Out of 10 instances only once the application gets opened.

I have even tried the previous version (v4.0.1485 ) as well and the issue persists.

I am running this on system having Windows 7  with SP1 version.  Please suggest how to fix this issue.

    I haven't seen this behaviour before so we'll have to do some experimenting.

    My first suspect would be something on your PATH environment variable is causing problems with the pinmux app. Could you be able to do the following?

    • Start a windows command window
    • Set the PATH environment variable to something minimal. On window, that is usually

    SET Path=C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\

    • CD to <pinmux install folder>\node-webkit\
    • From the command line, run "nw"

    Does this help at all?

    Sorry for the delay in reply. I have tried your suggestion, but still the issue persists.  Sometimes continuously more than 6 times out of 10 times the Application works. Most of the times the application hangs at the first instance with a white background.
