Hello,

When i load program to beaglebone black,I get this message at console:

CortxA8: AutoRun: Target not run as the symbol "main" is not defined

I have the main function in the main.c file.And everything is ok before loading the program.

Code Composer Studio Version: 5.5.0

EVB: BeagleBone Black

Emulator:XDS220U

HI Jack,
That is odd. By default, CCS will try to autorun to 'main' on program load (this can be disabled in the debugger options). For some reason, it is unable to find it. Would it be possible to share your *.out file? If you do not wish to share it publicly, please start a private conversation with me.

Hi Ki,

Thanks for your reply.Attached is my project,it's just an empty project with main.c.

I don't know if there is something wrong with the project's properties configuration.

Hi Jack,

How did you create this project? It is missing the startup file and has an older lds file than I would expect when creating a new project via CCSv5.5. In any case, remove your existing lds file and try adding the two files I attached here and rebuild.
