CCS/AM3352: .gel File for Trace Capability within CCS Debugger

Hello there,

I have a customer who is working with the CCS Debugger Tool and would like to use Trace but cannot locate the propoer gel file.

They believe it is called "AM335X_trace_dapdebugss.gel". Is this something we can provide from our side of things or possibly something the external community created around our platform?

    Hi Amanda,
    That file should reside in the following folder:
    <CCS INSTALL DIR>\ccsv[x]\ccs_base\emulation\gel

    It should come with the CCS installation provided that the customer has proper AM335x device support installed.
