The above thread is for a different discussion and not related to 2.5 GB dump loading.

In our PC's as soon as CCS reaches 3GB RAM usage, it crashes.

As we are using 32bit application (CCS) on a 64bit machine, I wonder whether IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE flag makes any difference as mentioned on Microsoft website: msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa366778(v=vs.85).aspx


Memory type Limit on X86 Limit in 64-bit Windows

User-mode virtual 2 GB 2 GB with IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE cleared (default)
address space for each Up to 3 GB with 4 GB with IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE set
32-bit process IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS
_AWARE and 4GT


Since we are using 64bit machines so there will not be any 3GB limit on the memory usage from the OS.

It could be a limitation of CCS. Can you provide the debug server dump file for analysis?
