Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi,
I have been using Blackhawk USB560v2 System Trace JTAG emulator for debugging my TMS320F2811 device. So far it was working fine without any issues and was able to connect properly. I came back from vacation and tried connecting to my device yesterday. I keep getting this error
Error initializing emulator: (Error -2083 @ 0x0) Unable to communicate with the debug probe. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation.
I then tried to do a test connection from the .ccxml file. I get the following error
This utility has selected a 560/2xx-class product.
This utility will load the program 'bh560v2u.out'.
E_RPCENV_IO_ERROR(-6) No connection: emulator was not found
Download failed for file C:\ti\ccsv7\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds560v2.out
An error occurred while soft opening the controller.
-----[An error has occurred and this utility has aborted]--------------------
This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-250' (0xffffff06).
The title is 'SC_ERR_ECOM_EMUNAME'.
The explanation is:
An attempt to access the debug probe via USCIF ECOM has failed.
I thought it could be an issue with the USB cable and replaced them still have the same problem. Tried reinstalling the driver and tried again, still did not work. I tried using the BH560v2 Config utility to search for the device but it does not return anything after searching.
The Mode LED in the JTAG emulator seems to be in flashing green which from their manual means trying to download driver. But its always flashing green does not go to solid green.
I am using a Windows 10 PC with Sophos antivirus.
Can somebody help me with what could be the problem with regards to the drivers?
Thanks and Regards,
