CCS/CC2640R2F: CCSv7 Fail To Import CCS Projects

My environment:

  1. C2640R2 SDK 1.35.00.33
  2. CCS v7.1/7.2
  3. Win10-64

I have two PCs - one is running Win7-64 and the other one running Win10-64 (brand new HP desktop out of the box). The Win10 can't import any CCS project from the examples directory - through Resource Explorer is ok though. The error is always like that:

Do you have any idea? The Win7 machine doesn't have that problem.

    Hi,

    The "Access denied" sometimes indicates that either another application is locking the file (a disk checker or AV scanner, for example) or the workspace somehow has no access permissions. However, since you are able to import the projects from Resource Explorer that does not seem to be the case.

    At any rate, can you inspect the file it is trying to access (.location under the path mentioned) and see if it exists and (maybe) has read-only permissions? I suspect this or the file itself is corrupt.

    I would also try to create a new workspace in a completely different area of the system; something such as C:\ti\workspaces\<workspace_name>

    This would help double-check if anything is trying to block you from accessing this.

    BTW, I have a Windows 10/64 and I am able to import similar projects from both the TIRex and the IDE interface.

    Hi Rafael,

    Disabled the real time scanning in McAfee makes it work!!

    Thank you for reporting back your findings; this can surely help others in the future.

    If you don't mind, just for completion: would you share the version of McAfee and the versions of the subpackages (virus definitions, threats, etc.) you are using?
