CCS/TMS320C6678: I can't open .cfg file

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi guys!!!

I want to open file .cfg but CCS doesn't let me.
I've got next error:

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
java.lang.NullPointerException

I've update Java and I've continued that problem.

I've searched by forum and I've found some threads but I haven't gotted good results.

Any information will be helpfull.

Hello!

CCS comes with its own JRE, so updating Java in the system has nothing to do with CCS unless you tuned CCS to use system wide Java installation. So don't be surprised that made no visible effect.

I have no working recipe either. But just in case, try to cleanup your workspace, or even create fresh one.

What version of CCS is this?

rrlagic is correct that cleaning the workspace could help here. You could try #2 and #3 at this link:
