CCS/TMS320F28335: XDS100v1 issue Mac version

Hello everyone!

Since various version of TI Emulation pack for mac, I have some issues when programming a F28335 with a XDS100v1. I have no problems with a XDS100v2.

XDS100v1 is too slow when programming (about 1 hour to finish programming a very simple project, XDS100v2 takes about 1 minute or less).

I have solve it for some time overwriting the file ccs_base/common/uscif/libjscserdes.dylib with an old version that had no issues (sorry I can't tell with version of emulation pack).

In current version Ti Emulation pack 6.0.628.3 in CCSv7 the problems persists, but if I overwrite that file, XDS100v1 works perfectly.

Anyone has the same issue, and/or has a better solution?

Thank you for reporting this issue; would you mind .zip the file you used to solve the issue and sharing it here? Perhaps we could extract the version from it and locate the problem.

Thank you for reporting this; I filed today the critical bug DBGTRC-3510 and you can check its status in the link SDOWP in my signature below in about half hour.

I noticed this issue affects all CCSv7.x versions and possibly CCSv6.2.0 as well.
