CCS/TMS320C6748: CCS Update to v7.2

The Code Composer Studio Version 7 Downloads area of the Download CCS page indicates that version 7.2 will be available as an update.

Update Status: this release will be available as an update.

Does this mean it will be available at some point or should it be available now?

I currently have version 7.1.0.00016 installed but I can not get the update via the Help ->"Check for Updates" or the Help->"Install New Software..." and then selecting the "Code Composer Studio v7 Updates" drop down.

Sorry for the delay on the availability of the 7.2 incremental update. It should be available by end of the day.

Thanks for the information but I am still unable to get the 7.2 update at this time.

Hi Matt,

The update should be live. I see it for my CCSv7.1.0 installation. Do you not see this option when you run the update manager?

Matt - what Host OS are you using? I'm wondering of the update was only posted for Windows.

Hi Ki,

I am using Windows. When I do Check for Updates this is what I get.

If I click on the available software sites link it shows that I have the Code Composer Studio v7 Updates Enabled.

Have you successfully found and updated other components in the past using Update Manager?

Yes, auto updates found something the day before I posted this and I was able to install it. That was when I realized that the v7.2 should be available but I was not seeing it.
