Running CCS 4 on Windows Server 2003

I tried installing CC4 on our Windows Server 2003 systems to perform automated nightly builds.

I received a warning stating Server 2003 was not supported.

Will ccs4 install and run on Windows Server 2003?

Although I haven't experienced installing CCSv4 on Windows Server 2003 myself, the official statement is that it is not supported: check its product page.

However, I wonder if Windows Server features some virtualization mechanisms also present in the newer desktop Windows versions (Vista or 7), therefore the information below can be of help:
