Ruan,
Which version of CCS are you using? If you're on a version earlier than 4.1.3 could you try that out that version? You can have multiple versions of CCS 4.x installed on your machine if you do not wish to uninstall your current version just yet.
To debug the issue further, it would be helpful if you could send us diagnostic logs as described here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCS#CCS_Diagnostic_Logs
4..1.3 can be download from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS
As for the logs, you can zip them up and attach to a post (Go to Options when composing your reply, and attach file). Or you can go to your profile, there is a tab called "Files". You can add the .zip file there and let us know when you've uploaded the file to we can retrieve it.
Did you have a chance to try out v4.1.3? It looks like these logs were generated using 4.0.1. Since there are many fixes added since 4.0.x, it may be possible that this issue has already been addressed. Could you please try out 4.1.3 and let us know if the problems persist and if so, send the logs generated with 4.1.3?
Are you having connection errors in addition to the Java crash as I saw some some connection errors in the log files as well?
Hey, Yes I'm having connection erros as well. Also halting errors sometimes if I try to pause while debugging.
I can't download the new version at the moment, it'll cost me too much and I'm a student. But I'll try to get it.
Thanks for your help so far...
Ruan

Not sure what you meant by it'll cost too much, but you can download v4.1.3 from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS and use the 30 day evaluation license for free.
In the meantime, we'll take a look at the logs and see if they provide any helpful information.
Ruan,
The crash in the dump file that was seen in your logs is something that was fixed in CCS 4.0.2. So we know that at least that issue has been fixed. At this point, it would be best if you could try out the latest version of CCS and let us know if you continue to have connection problems or crashes.
