CCS/TMS320C6748: Console won't stay open

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

When CCS first starts up, the console is visible, but as soon as I attempt to build or debug it goes away. When I try to reopen the console, it'll flash up for a second then disappear again. I've reset the perspective, restarted my computer and CCS, and tried to open the console from both the Windows and the View tabs.

Is it possible that the Console view is minimized? Could you attach a screenshot of your entire CCS workbench after manually opening the view and then rebuilding a project (assuming it disappears at this point)?

Which version of CCS are you using?
