CCS/MSP430G2553: Installation Failed

Hello!

I was trying to install CCS and I made sure to turn off my anti-virus. I had the following error:

I will also attach the install log files.

    I see in your install logs that your system TEMP directory is set to a directory that has spaces in it (which is coming from your Username that has a space between two names). There is a known issue with the CCS installer when there are spaces in the Windows temporary directory path. During the install, we extract files to the TEMP directory but this step fails if the TEMP directory has spaces in the path.

    Please see this post for a workaround.

    This issue will be fixed in the next CCS release 7.3.
