CCS Energy Trace Technology error

Hi,

I am trying to use CCS to debug my C2000 microcontroller, but I am facing the following issue. Initially it was working fine, but recently some of my other applications on windows got updated and this started showing up.

I tried opening Energy trace in Preferences following some of TI threads and following was observed:

I tried uninstalling everything and deleting the folder and installing a fresh copy of CCS v7 nut the problem still remains.

Hello,
The most common cause of this error is corrupt metadata in the workspace folder. Have you tried using a completely clean (empty) workspace folder?

I forgot to mention. I switched to new work-space and it works.
