CCS/TMS320C6713B: Error initializing emulator

Hello, everyone..

I've problem when running TMS320C6713 as bellow:

Error initializing emulator

I/O Port = 540

Board Name: C6713 DSK

Cpu Name: CPU_1

Abort: Close Code Composer Studio.

Retry: Try to initialize the emulator again.

Ignore: Ignore the initialization error and start

potentially without target debugging access.

Diagnostic: Run diagnostic utility.

Currently, I'm using CCS V3.1 with windows XP.

When I run diagnostic utility, it was failed to load.
What should i do to fix this problem?

I think, I've successfully install the driver. I've no idea at all.

Please help me!

Hello Ayuni,
Note that you are using a very old version of CCS that has not been supported in a long time. If you can upgrade your CCS version, I recommend it.

But if you cannot for whatever reason, I have a question about your setup. Your second screenshot shows a setup of 3 different targets. Do you have all three DSKs connected at the same time? Please try a configuration of just one DSK and try again.

Actually, I've two boards which is TMS320C6713 DSK and TMS320C6416T DSK. Both board have same problem which:

Error initializing emulator

I've try one by one but it still fail.

What should i do?

Btw, when connect to power supply, LED (D7, D8, D9, D10) for TMS320C6713 DSK is off, but for TMS320C6416T DSK,the LED is on.

I am assuming you are using the onboard emulation integrated into the DSKs. The first thing to check is the troubleshooting guide for Spectrum Digital:
support.spectrumdigital.com/.../

#3 applies to your environment.

Thank you for your help. TMS320C6416T DSK can be used already.

But for 6713DSK, the DSP diagnostics test fail.

Can I know why and what should I do?
