Problem with USB200 - No source available for "0x3ff9fa"

Hi everybody,

I have created one simple application (gpio output pin toggling), but if I try to debug it with USB200 emulator, this message will appear: "No source available for "0x3ff9fa". On the other side, if I decide to use on-board debugger XDS100v2, there is absolutely no problem. Why?

I have got F28335 Control card and C2000 Peripheral Explorer, the CCS is in version 6.2.0

The whole application is similar to code, which you could find in "F2833x-F2823x Firmware Development Package User´s Guide" document.

Thank you a lot.

Miroslav

  • Miroslav,

In general the "No source available" message is harmless, it is indeed strange the difference between XDS100 and XDS200 - unless no code is loaded to the target at all.

Another difference may be due to the auto-run configurations of the Debug Session itself - you can check the section 3.2 of the page below:
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Debug_Handbook_for_CCS

Details about the message you are seeing can be found in the section 6 of the page above.

    Hope this helps,
    Rafael
