TMS320F28035: Emulator for both TMS320F28035 and TM4C129x

My customer use TMS320F28035 and TM4C129x. They hope to purchase one unified emulator to debug both TMS320F28035 and TM4C129x.

I find XDS100V2, XDS200, XDS560V2 can be used. What's the cons and pros of each emulator? Thanks. 

Below is recommended emulator for TM4C129x. ICDI is the best choice for TM4C because it support all tools and IDE, but it don't support C2000.

    The ICDI is a legacy probe that is really only for TM4C/Stellaris.

    What is important to the customer? i.e. what are their needs? Is cost very important? What IDE will they be using? Is performance most important....

    The need a bit of updating to reflect more information on the XDS110.

    For TM4C129 and F28035 I would likely start with the XDS110. www.ti.com/.../tmdsemu110-u

    It is affordable, supports both of those devices, has better performance than the XDS100 (which it is a replacement for). It also includes the adapters that you need to work with those devices as F28x usually has a 14pin JTAG header and TM4C will use the 10pin header.

    If they find that is not fast enough then the XDS200 would offer improved performance but costs 3 times as much.

    The XDS110 can be used with IAR and Keil as it supports CMSIS-DAP. Note that neither of those environments support F28x.

    The XDS560v2 is for high performance processors and is not worth the extra money for these devices.
