CCS/EZ430-CHRONOS: CCS/EZ430-CHRONOS

Part Number: EZ430-CHRONOS

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I bought a watch, download CCS 7x. I install the Control Center for ez430. I find the program and I compile. he told me what.

This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed - 3.2.1 [MSP430]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build - 16.9.3.LTS. See 'Help> Install New Software' and select 'Code

How do I start debugging a project if I can not even compile it.

Thank you

  • Hello,
The message is simply saying that the project was originally created using an older version of the compiler (which makes sense since the project was created a long time ago) and that CCS doesn't not find this old version on your machine so it will use your current version. This is simply a warning message and should (generally) not impact your build or debug. Were you able to build the project successfully?

    Thanks
