CCS/CC3200MODLAUNCHXL: Console output

Using all of the very latest CCS V7 and SDK 1.3.0, I can't seem to find the magic formula for getting output via the printf() to the console window.

Any help welcomed. Building and debugging working great, just the I/O is ignored, hence "Hello World" example program doesn't output anything. Blinky executes just fine. I didn't find anything in the forums etc. so I decided to ask the question.

Hi Gary,
C I/O can be a little tricky to use effectively. Have you seen the below wiki article? It addresses the common use cases (like insufficient stack/heap sizes):

Thank you, Ki! Might I suggest to TI that they put a link to this article somewhere, anywhere in their LaunchPad documentation? It totally covers the issues of using C I/O.
