CCS/CCSTUDIO: Cannot install CCS v7 on Windows 7...

After coming to realize that many of our experiments will not work on Windows 10 - driver issues? - I've embarked on building a Win 7 (VM) as one of our dev environments

All patches are installed - the OS is as up to date as it can be. 

Antivirus checking is off, temporarily.

Nonetheless, installer complains about patches being missing and presence of antivirus software. 

Additionally, error message seems to indicate inability to download a specific portion of the CCS build:

    It could be a temporary issue with the server. Can you try using the offline installer?

    Ki! Too easy - thanks. The off-line installer worked just fine. ( Apologies, I hadn't noticed there even was one... )

    But, FYI, that issue with the server is more than just a little temporary - I've been getting those 404 errors for a couple of weeks now.

    And, as a note, even the off-line installer complains about the need to install ( already-installed ) Windows updates.

    Thanks for the feedback LouEEEE, we will look into it. Yes, these failed connections to the server happen much more often than we'd like.
