CCS: Can't write { CCSv7

Hi,

I'm new to CCSv7 but for the life of me, I can't figure out why it wont allow me to write {. I can write a } but if I do a { (= B + AltGr) nothing happens. I can compile the couple of lines of test code I have and the code works and there are no errors/warnings.

Currently I'm stuck copy - pasting { form other position in the code. I updated CCS and compilers with the newest updates. Please help!

Hi Marko,
Let me see if I understand.... you are having issue typing in the "{" character in the editor of CCS? As in, it does not appear in the editor? Did I understand that correctly? And it is only in the CCS editor that you have an issue?

Hi,
yes exactly. I have tried switching languages on the keyboard and everything I just can't type {.

that is very strange. Can you type a "{" character anywhere else in CCS? Like the quick access field or the Scripting Console?

I can write { in find/replace or the search tab in eg. Window/preferances in the type filter text. But I can't in the Scripting Console.

I have resolved the problem. I had to unbound CTRL+Alt+B hotkey and now it works.
