CCS: The problem of import demos of MSP430Ware v3.80.01.01 in CCS--"Error importing project. Location cannot be resolved"

Then I uninstall the MSP430Ware, but  when I install it ,the downloading files at about 25% , it always appear the information below:

but the MSP430Ware can't be used. What's wrong with it?

If it gives that "undefined" message then it didn't actually install.  I usually see that when I am downloading on to my Mac when the software package doesn't support Mac.  Looks like you are on Windows though so that isn't what is happening in your case.

I just downloaded this package myself on my Windows laptop.  The download was VERY slow for the first 20% and then the rest was really quick.  When done I get this.

However when I try to import the same example as you I get the same error:

When I look inside the c:\ti\msp folder I don't see the 3.80 MSP430Ware.

I will follow up with the MSP and Resource Explorer teams to figure out what is going on.

I have try to uninstall the CCS7.2 and install the lasted version of CCS7.3 and try sometimes to install the MSP430Ware v3.80.01.01 ,and install it finally !

Good to hear that you have it installed. The issue is specific to the TI network so if you hit this again if you try off the TI network it should complete fine. The team is working with TI IT to get a more permanent fix.
