CCS/AM3358: Debugging using the AM335x started kit with CCS

I have built one of the examples in sys/bios and when I try to run it in CCS debugger I get the following error:

M3_wakeupSS_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1266 @ 0x0) Device is held in reset. Take the device out of reset, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 7.0.48.0)

My debug configuration looks like this:

Hi Sanford,
The M3 is held in reset, hence the error. But is your application for the M3? I suspect your application is for the A8.

I believe that you are right but I am new to CCS and not sure how to check. Does the AM335x Starter kit have to start from the SD card or can I start through CCS in debug mode?

Since you are new to CCS, I suggestion taking a look at the presentation material for the CCS workshop with Sitara:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CCS_Fundamentals_Workshop

The material is a bit old but it is still relevant. Slide 9 of the lab material is likely the key information you need.
