For audio loopback sample code, you can also check if there is such in the DM37x Android and/or Linux SDK source code:

As you are using Mistral EVM, you can also check with the Mistral support team about what they have regarding audio loopback sample code.

You can try with "arecord" ALSA userspace tool. it is used for capturing audio. For more details, see:

I am working with the same board TMDSEVM3730 under Android OS, and I was able to do audio playback but haven't succeeded in recording anything from audio in (MIC). Did you figure out how to do it?

There is this important notice:

"Important (for AM/DM37x,OMAP35x ONLY)
Audio capture channels AUXL and AUXR are by default disabled for AM/DM37x,OMAP35x ASoC driver. To enable them, user can use the following 'amixer' commands:

amixer cset name='Analog Left AUXL Capture Switch' 1
amixer cset name='Analog Right AUXR Capture Switch' 1"


This is the explanation how to enable Audio IN under Linux. Do you know the way how to do under Android OS?

No, I am not familiar with Android OS. I can help only for Linux.
