Hi,

I could successfully load the program via XDS510 to my target processor OMAPL138. But while running the code, it gets crashed. The same project works fine with TI XDS100 v2 emulator.

What could be the reason behind issue? Any help would be appreciated.

(CCS version 4.2 )

Hello,
Please describe the crash. Is it your code that crashes or CCS itself? Provide as much details as possible

Also, note that your CCS version is very old and unsupported. Is there any particular reason you are using such an old version? I strongly recommend updating to the latest version

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

My code crashes. data abort occurs. Code gets crashed while it reaches some specific areas of the code. Breakpoints can be added and debugging is possible upto the specific address where crash occurs. But the same project works fine without any crash while using XDS100 v2 with CCSv4.2

The first thing I'd like for you to try is to update you CCS version. As mentioned, CCSv4 is very old and unsupported. Please update to the latest CCS version and try again.

Hi,

Its a licensed version. That's why i'm using it. Anyway i'll try by updating to a higher version. Please let me know if there is any other possible issues.
