CCS/TMS320C6748: Viewing spectrum and Simulation in code composer studio

Hello,

I am having a matlab generated C code running in c6748 processor. I want to view spectrum of some of the variables in the code. How can we view spectrum in CCS? The magnitude graph in the CCS is not responding accurately. Can I connect CCS to some virtual spectrum analyzer?

Also how can I do simulation in CCSv7? Please make suggestions.

Hello Shalini,
Please describe the issue in more detail (what is "not responding accurately"?).

CCS no longer supports simulators so I recommend against using simulators with CCS.

The spectrum analyzer in matlab shows the spectrum in real time fast. But in CCS the spectrum takes long time to respond.

Note that the default refresh rate of the graphs is 500ms. CCS supports refresh rate as low as 100ms. Anything lower than that is not supported.
