Compiler: Demo project for controlling DLP6500 1080p DMD

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to ask for help in controlling our new device, the DLP6500 1080p DMD. We are going to use DMD to generate different patterns to realize Structure Illumination Microscope for achieving super-resolution imaging, for example, we want some specified column of mirrors on while the other off. So we need to control the switching on/off of each micro-mirror by programming (by C/C++, java, or matlab would be OK). I could not see any source code in your website to do this, so it could appreciated if you could supply some demo project, so that we can continue our project. If possible, please reply and send anything available to my working Email, thank you in advance.

  • Hello Shun,

    Welcome to the DLP section of the TI-E2E community.

    Are you designing your own board or using the DLPLCR6500EVM?

    If you are using the EVM, you can go the the EVM page.  click --> DLPLCR6500EVM.

    On that page scroll down to the "Available Versions" section and you will find the following table:

    Click on the link for the 3.0.0 version dated 9/2016.  When you unpack it, it has all of the source code for the GUI.  It is written in C++.

    I hope this helps,

    Fizix
