I found the Linux (Ubunta) download for Uniflash 3.4.1 on the wiki page but no instructions on how to install it???

Hi Gary,
Installation for UniFlash is fairly straight forward. Just download and run the binary (if using the web installer) or extract the archive and run the associated binary in the extracted folder (if using the off-line installer):

finally was able to it it to run sudo uniflash*
but then I get a dialog complaining about libgcryp.so.11
so I try to install it.

Thanks, that installed libgcrypt.so.11 but Uniflash 3.4.1 will not install on Ubunta 16.04

gksudo ./uniflash*

I don't get any errors but don't see any splash screen either.

What do you see when you run the installer? How far do you get in the install wizard GUI?

Nothing. I launched it from a command window. I did get a couple of screens the first time I launched but then it complained about libgcrypt.so.11 so I terminated the install. I looked in the software-center and /usr/bin to see if it installed and there is no Uniflash 3.4.1 there. I rebooted and tried again but nothing??? Its been a while since I have been a Unix user and Ubunta is definitely new to me so I must be doing something wrong.

Once you install libgcrypt.so.11, you should be able to rerun the installer and you should be able to progress further. What happens when you rerun the installer? nothing?

That is odd. With the required 32-bit dependencies installed (mentioned in the wiki), you should at least be seeing some splash screens. Did you make sure that the 32-bit version of libgcrypt.so.11 was installed?
