CCS/66AK2H12: PDK not recognized as installed

Part Number: 66AK2H12

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello.

My CCS 7.2 installation was working but I broke it.

I was trying to do some testing. I'd exited CCS. I renamed my PDK installation directory from c:\ti\pdk_k2hk_4_0_6 to c:\ti\pdk_k2hk_4_0_6.tmp. Restarted CCS. It made a comment about adding pdk_k2hk_4_0_6.tmp, I realized my mistake, canceled (did not install pdk_k2hk_4_0_6.tmp), exited CCS. Rename back to pdk_k2hk_4_0_6 and restarted CCS. Now the PDK is no longer recognized as an installed package. I went back to the original downloaded SDK install and re-ran it, selected to install the PDK again (after delete the one I must have messed up). Restart CCS. It still doesn't recognize the package.

How can I get CCS to see/include the PDK package again?

SYS/BIOS 6.50, XDCtools 3.50, CCS 7.2, NDK 2.25.1.11

Mike

  • The error I get when I try to compile:

Product 'com.ti.pdk.k2hk' v4.0.6 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.

    Try the following:

    1) Select Help -> About Code Composer Studio. Press the "Installation Details" button. If k2hk PDK version 4.0.6 in the list select to uninstall it. This won't remove the files for the PDK, but makes Eclipse forget about the installation.

    2) Select Windows -> Preferences. Navigate to Code Composer Studio -> Products. Press the "Rediscover" button, and see if that gives the option to add the PDK package.

  • Chester,
    Right on. Thank you.
