What is the difference between ccs5.4 and ccs6.0 version? And how to transplant ccs6.0 project to ccs5.4?

    Between Code Composer Studio v5.4 and v6.0 there was a major upgrade to the Eclipse framework that CCS is built on. I would not expect to be able to import a CCSv6 project into CCSv5. The reverse is possible, importing a CCSv5.4 project into CCSv6 but not the other way around.

    Is there a reason why you need to keep using CCSv5.4 instead of a newer version such as CCSv6 or CCSv7. Note that with CCSv7 you can just download and install it, there is no license fee.
