CCS/IWR1443BOOST: Error while loading captured data file(.dat).

Hi! I'm Wonjin Eom.

I'm testing IWR1443BOOST mmWave EVM and captured some data using mmWave Visualizer V1.10.

The format of captured data file was .dat so I want to load and browse this file in CCS (V7.3.0).

I referred https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/405091/1435473#1435473

but I encountered error like below.

I pressed "OK" button and this window appeared.

And I pressed "Finish", I saw error like below

I cannot know what is problem and how I can solve this.

I just want to see which contents are contained in the dat file.

Somebody help me :(

Hi Wonjin,

MATLAB is the recommended software to open the .dat file for the mmWave Capture demo. This is because users are encouraged to create their own custom processing algorithms for this data.

This is outlined on Page 14 of the mmWaveSDK User's Guide for the capture demo specifically.

Just to clarify, the mmWaveSDK user's guide is available in the Docs folder inside the mmWaveSDK folder after you install it.
